What you need before you start
A PCD franchise is a licensed activity, so the paperwork comes first. In Jammu & Kashmir the wholesale drug licence for your premises is issued by the Drugs and Food Control Organisation, Jammu & Kashmir. You will also need a GST registration in your firm’s name, proof of the premises, and a competent person as the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules require.
Forms, fees and the minimum floor area change from time to time. Confirm the current requirement with the authority rather than with any franchise company, including us.

Territories in Jammu & Kashmir
Jammu and Kashmir run as two separate markets with two separate wholesale hubs: Jammu city for the Jammu division, Srinagar for the Valley. A Jammu partner does not serve Anantnag. We agree territory by district within one division and would rather appoint two partners than one who promises both.
The Valley has a real winter. Highway closures stop consignments for days at a time between December and February, and a partner there needs to hold more stock going into winter than a partner in Jammu does. If your plan cannot carry that stock, take a Jammu-division territory first, or do not take one yet.
